Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Third Place ("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader based in Manchester, United Kingdom, handles your data when you play Rondo FC ("the App").
We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the EU GDPR where it applies.
2. The short version
Rondo FC has no accounts and no servers of ours. Your careers, plans, renamed clubs and settings live on your device and never reach us. We do not collect, see or store any personal data ourselves.
The App is free to play. It is funded by optional rewarded adverts and a one-time purchase, Rondo FC Pro. When you choose to watch an advert, Google and its advertising partners process limited device and interaction data to serve, secure and measure it. That is the only personal data processing connected to the App.
3. Your game data
Everything you create in Rondo FC, including careers, match plans, squads, renamed clubs, players and grounds, and your settings, is stored on your device only. If you export a names file, it goes only where you choose to send it.
Deleting the App deletes this data permanently. We have no copy and no way to recover it.
4. Advertising
Rondo FC shows rewarded adverts only when you tap to watch one in return for a stated in-game extra. Adverts are never required to play a match. Advertising is provided by Google AdMob and partners that buy adverts through Google.
When an advert is requested, Google Mobile Ads may process your IP address and the general location derived from it, app- or developer-scoped device identifiers, advertising data, advert and app interactions, diagnostics, crash logs and performance information. Google uses this to serve and measure adverts, cap frequency, prevent fraud and improve its services. Rondo FC does not request access to Apple's Identifier for Advertisers and never asks for permission to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
We do not receive information that directly identifies you. Google processes advertising data under the Google Privacy Policy and explains how it uses information from apps that use its services.
Adverts are limited to content suitable for a general audience. If you own Rondo FC Pro, the App does not request adverts and the advertising SDK is not started.
5. Your advertising choices
In the UK, EEA and Switzerland, and in US states with privacy laws: before the first advert is requested, Rondo FC uses Google's User Messaging Platform to show the privacy choices required for your location. You can consent, refuse, or manage individual purposes and partners.
Changing your mind: where your region requires it, Settings in the App shows Privacy choices, where you can change your answer at any time. You can also report an advert from Settings. Rondo FC does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
6. Purchases
Rondo FC Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. The purchase is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on any of your devices from Settings.
7. Data retention
We retain nothing, because we collect nothing. Game data stays on your device until you delete the App. Data processed by our advertising partners is retained according to their published policies.
8. Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Because we hold no personal data about you, requests about advertising data are best directed to Google through the links in section 4, but you can always contact us at will@thirdplace.tech and we will help.
9. Children's privacy
Rondo FC is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow the collection of personal data from children. Adverts are limited to content suitable for a general audience.
10. International transfers
Our advertising partners operate globally and may process the data described in section 4 outside the UK and EEA, under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. Details are in their privacy policies.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how the App handles data, we will update this page and the date above, and mention material changes in the App's release notes.
12. Contact and complaints
Questions about this policy: will@thirdplace.tech.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority in the EU.
