Hi everyone. We're Third Place, a team in Manchester with an obsession for third places. Those spaces, separate from home and work, where people come together to meet, connect and spend time together. Over the years, these third places have moved increasingly online. For a while this was fun. A new way to keep in touch with friends, and make some new ones. More recently, social has become social media - and connection has morphed into consumption. Social isn't about those closest to us any more, and our real life third places are struggling more than ever.

This is what we want to fix. Through a combination of events, communities and truly social digital third places, we're focusing on the social over the media. A new generation of spaces for everyone to share and belong.
